Our teaching philosophy
A teaching philosophy is an essential & active element of a teacher. Acquiring a philosophy is powerful, in that it directs & guides a teacher's teaching practices in the classroom as well as how they perceive teaching, learning & the students around them.

At Graphony, we believe that music education is more than just learning how to play an instrument or read sheet music. Music has the power to inspire, challenge & transform students in profound ways. A well-rounded music education should cultivate not only technical proficiency, but also creativity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. To achieve this goal, we focus on two teaching philosophies that caters to the primary needs of the student: Aesthetic & Praxial teaching philosophy.
