Aesthetic teaching philosophy in music refers to the holistic approach of teaching music that emphasises the cultural, creative & emotional aspects of music making. Students would be able to view music as an art form that brings them joy, express individuality and evoke deep emotions.

Goal

This teaching philosophy prioritise the personal musical experience & expressions of students, & aim to help students develop their own musical voice & style.

Teaching Approach

Students are encouraged to explore & experiment with different musical styles, techniques & to work on musical projects. The teacher serves as a mentor & guide rather a strict authority figure to inspire students.

Activities

Classroom activities includes music appreciation, basic theory studies, aural & performing original pieces. Students will also be guided to collaborate with their peers in ensemble playing & other musical projects.
